About the Piece:
This is an archival science illustration linocut print created on high-quality calligraphy rice paper or 300 gsm watercolor paper. A linocut print is an original piece of art, and the process of creation results in each print having unique characteristics. ❤
This piece features a spot illustration of the bumblebee, especially the Common Eastern Bumble Bee. On a hike through the Appalachian Trail, I found myself crosses paths with tired, hurt bees. I spent some time with them at our campsites, and after protecting them from the wind, rain, and predators, I created a safe place for them to save up the energy to fly again. As one of the most humbling and eye opening experiences of my life, my time spent on the AT inspired me to take action for nature conservation.
When Do I Ship Prints:
Sometimes I create the prints the moment I receive the order. Once you place an order we will try our best to dispatch the prints as soon as we can, but please allow up to 3 weeks for processing and shipping. Please allow up to 2 weeks for deliveries in the US and up to 3 - 4 weeks for international orders. When shipped, you will receive an email with your shipping tracking number.
International Orders:
Please note the duty/customs taxes and/or fees for international orders. Not only do these vary per country, but they are also the buyer's responsibility. Each international order will have the required customs form labels. In these customs forms, they will include the contents and purchase prices of your item(s).
Refunds & Returns:
Once prints are printed and shipped, they are non-refundable. However, if there is damage to the order upon arrival please send photos to > jess@soriano.studio < to be reviewed - all orders are carefully packaged and sent with love.
